Have you been to the California Agriculture Museum yet? If not, it may be a good time to introduce yourself to the world’s most unique collection of tractors and harvesters (just to name a few) in the world. This Saturday, March 19th is Family Day at the museum and everyone is welcome to join in the festivities; It’s the kickoff to the new season, a celebration of the museum’s collection and a time to rev up old time tractors for National Ag Week. The museum is set up for a historical walk through horse-drawn harvesters to more modern tractors and will also showcase the artwork of both Paula Amerine and Elizabeth Young.
PARENT ALERT!! This is a wonderful kid-friendly event with activities, history lessons, drones and a bounce house. Plus, hot dogs will be grilled on the Caterpillar grill!

Woodland is very lucky to have the California Ag Museum. Let’s show our support of this amazing collection and the families and people who work to keep this history alive.
Check back mid-April, I’m working with the museum on a blog series leading up to their Tractors & Brews event on June 16. I’ll focus on the history, the collection, the direction the museum is looking to go, and much more.
