“With a blend of rock-a-billy rhythm, country-blues guitar solos and pop vocal harmonies, According to Bazooka is truly unique. ”
— Joshua Gutierrez, Daily Democrat, Freelance Writer

Father Paddy’s offers up a lively evening of live Americana Pop music. Based out of Sacramento, the band According to Bazooka is known for their unique and accessible upbeat original music. Featuring infectious melodies, a vintage feel and rich harmonies, the quartet’s sound has a classic 1960s folk-rock vibe. These engaging tunes offer up vignettes of everyday humanity and a playful perspective to life’s ups and downs. With a folk-pop infused sound that draws from rock and roll, rockabilly, country and zydeco, the band offers up clever lyrics, well-crafted tunes and a lively show with a distinctively California flavor! According to Bazooka’s musicians are Richard Urbino (vocals, guitar, songwriting), René Martucci, (vocals, accordion, songwriting), Jamie Knapp (vocals, upright bass) and Don Johnston (drums, percussion).

According to Bazooka celebrates their October 2017 album release “Where We Are Now”. Produced by Sac Pop talent David Houston (String Theory) and recorded at Moon Studio in Sacramento, the album shares many delightful surprises. CDs are available at iTunes, CDbaby, Spotify and more.
