Free Concert Series at Heritage Plaza in September 2017
The Historic Downtown Woodland Group ups its game with bigger names for the September 2017 concert series, Thursday Night Live at the Plaza in Woodland, CA. With an expanded offering of regional and national touring bands, each with their own special flair, this family friendly music series features free live music on beautiful Heritage Plaza every Thursday from September 7th through the 28th at 7pm.
Highlighting the Louisiana Blues of Maria Muldaur on Sept. 7th; the Cajun & Zydeco of Tom Rigney and Flambeau on Sept. 14th; the Brazilian/Samba Funk of SambaDá on Sept. 21st and the Rhythm and Blues of Lydia Pense and Cold Blood on Sept. 28th, Thursday Night Live delivers a danceable assortment of diverse musical genres. These concerts also feature a professional sound system and sound engineer for a bigger concert experience.

New this September, Thursday Night Live also brings a wider offering of Fun, Food, Family and Music to the Plaza. Delicious fares will be offered on site by local restaurants Father Paddy’s, Las Brasas, and Savory Café (for the last two dates), while Blue Note Brewing and Uvaggio Wine Bar will provide adult libations. Plus the Mosaic Children’s Museum is hosting a new family fun park right next to the Plaza, featuring a Jumping Castle, Face Painting and a Balloon Twister, along with special cold treats, all of which will be available as of 6pm.
Heritage Plaza is located in historic downtown Woodland, a city that is rapidly expanding with multiple new businesses, restaurants and shops. Concertgoers can sample local food booths, specialty wines and brews, as well as ice cold drinks, while listening to great music. Adults and kids alike will revel in the fresh sounds of Thursday nights, so grab the family, some chairs and your dancing shoes!
