Five Must Dos At This Year’s Stroll Through History

Mark your calendar! Saturday September 10th is this year’s Stroll Through History.  Here are five Stroll activities that should not be missed.  Purchase your tickets online, here, or in person at Corner Drug & The Gifted Penguin.  See you there!

stroll-1The Walking Tours | Learn about Woodland’s different types of architecture but taking leisurely strolls through neighborhood and the downtown area.  Each tour is lead by a docent who is passionate about the history of our homes and buildings.  There are eight tours to choose from and guess what, they are all free.  Check out your options here.

stroll-3Open Home Tours | This year there are five homes on display.  With a purchase of a ticket (here) you are able to visit each home and tour inside and out.

DSC_0062Silent Movies |  The Opera House, along with many other Landmark Buildings (see the list here), will be on display for tours.  However, at 1:00 pm, the Opera House will show classic silent films.

stroll-2Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast | Start your day off right at Heritage Plaza.  From 8:00 – 10:00am Kiwanis will serve their famous pancakes.  Tickets: Adults $6, Kids $3
