October Events You Shouldn’t Miss

Here are a few events you should definitely have on your calendar.  There are more to come and we’ll share them as they become available.  Keep a look out for the annual Downtown Woodland Trick or Treat event and other Halloween inspired plans.  We’ll do a dedicated Halloween post next week.

Sunday Sessions at Blue Note | Every Sunday from 3-6 you can enjoy live music at our very own craft brewery.

Relay For Life | Saturday, October 7 and Sunday, October 8.  Read our past post about this 24 hour event supporting the American Cancer Society

Retail Anniversary Celebrations (haven & Serendipity) | This weekend both retailers are celebrating their one-year anniversary.  haven a boutique will celebrate on Friday, October 6 and Serendipity Boutique on Saturday, October 7.Tunes for Trees | Saturday, October 7.  The Woodland Tree Foundation is hosting their annual Tunes for Trees.  Proceeds go to the planting of care of shade trees throughout our town.

Funky Fall Formal | Saturday, October 14.  This one of a kind event is presented by Woodland retailer, The White Barn and hosted by Bullfrog Bees in Winters.  Buy your tickets here

Inaugural “A Day on The Green” Yolo Fliers Club | Saturday, October 14.  Open to the public!  Spend a day on the Green and check out the Fliers Club.  It’s for a good cause and should be a gorgeous day.

Woodland Opera House Blythe Spirit | Begins 10/13.  Friday & Saturdays 7:30 pm, Sundays 2:oo pm.  Buy your tickets, this comedy runs through November 5th.

Cobram Estate California Harvest | Meet one of Woodland’s newest businesses.  They are opening their doors for a tastings and a tour on Sunday, October 29.  Purchase your tickets here.
