The newly remodeled State Theatre is set to open to the public soon. However, if you want a sneak peek prior to its grand opening, be sure to purchase tickets to the State Theatre Gala being held on Wednesday, June 28.
GALA VIP Preview Party tickets | Cost $100 | Includes entrance to the theatre, appetizers from local restaurants, tour of the restored main theatre and many other fun activities.
GALA Street Party | Cost FREE | From 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm enjoy an outdoor street party in front of the State Theatre. Live music from Four Barrel, and front row viewing of the ribbon cutting ceremony. Drinks can be purchased from Father Paddy’s.

Ron Caceres was kind enough to share what we can expect at the Gala. Ron was involved early on in the project as well. He assisted the City of Woodland in many ways, including finding the operator, Cinema West, and he was instrumental in connecting groups together to get the project going.
What can we expect as VIP ticket holders?
300 people we be able to view the interiors of the State Theatre before it opens to the public on Friday, June 30. The VIP ticket holders will be able to see a documentary made by Woodland residents Jeff Levich and David Wilkinson, tour the main theatre, participate in a silent auction and raffle and enjoy food from local restaurants. There will also be an exhibit of photography from Paul W. Hollingshead.
Where do the ticket proceeds go to?
Three organizations benefit from the GALA’s ticket sales; Dinner on Main, Yolo Food Bank, and Historic Downtown Woodland Group.
What is something you don’t want to miss?
The ribbon cutting ceremony begins at 8pm and then we’re going to light up the marquee!
