BerryFest Strawberry Festival Makes a Berry Sweet Return in 2025 Woodland, CA – Thanks to the support of our presenting sponsor, Visit Woodland, the beloved BerryFest Strawberry Festival is back and bigger than ever! After a multi-year hiatus due to the pandemic and venue limitations, the beloved BerryFest Strawberry Festival is back and bigger than ever. Mark your calendars for Mother’s Day weekend, May 10th and 11th, 2025, as the festival sets roots at the Yolo County Fairgrounds in Woodland, California. 

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of BerryFest,” says John and his spouse Jade, organizers of the festival. “We can’t wait to celebrate the bounty of the strawberry season with our community in a new, spacious location that allows us to offer more of everything our attendees love.” 

A Country-Themed Celebration with Classic Favorites 

This year’s BerryFest embraces a “Coming Back with Country” theme. Attendees can expect a lineup of country music acts, shows, and performances alongside the festival’s signature offerings. Indulge in delectable strawberry treats, unique foods, and a variety of shopping options. 

Popular returning attractions include the crowd-pleasing strawberry shortcake eating contest, plenty of shopping, a delicious strawberry pancake breakfast, a classic car show, and free Mother’s Day arts and crafts for families. 

Family Fun for Everyone 

From a thrilling kids’ carnival and a build-your-own shortcake buffet to a relaxing mom’s retreat, a petting zoo with pony rides, and non-stop entertainment on the community stage and beer garden, there’s something for everyone at BerryFest. 

The Woodland Winefest is an annual fundraising event organized by Soroptimist International of Woodland. The 2025 festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Heritage Plaza, located at 701 Main Street, Woodland, CA 95695. ​

Attendees can look forward to tastings from over 17 local wineries and two breweries, as well as samples of local olive oils and baked goods from UC Baking. The event will also feature live music and food trucks, with a complimentary glass included in the ticket price. ​

Tickets are available for purchase online. All proceeds from the event support Soroptimist International of Woodland’s programs aimed at improving the lives of women and girls in local communities. ​

The C10 Intervention is an annual event in Woodland, California, celebrating Chevrolet and GMC trucks from 1908 to 1998. The 2024 event is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, August 31st to September 1st, in historic downtown Woodland. ​

Festivities begin on Saturday, August 30th, at 7:00 PM with a “participants only” cruise night limited to 450 trucks, offering spectators a unique viewing experience along Main Street. The main event is on Sunday, August 31st, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, free for spectators. All GM trucks, including Blazers, Jimmys, and Suburbans—whether lifted, lowered, or stock—are welcome. 

For an enhanced experience, the VIP Lounge offers inclusive BBQ, drinks, whiskey and tequila tastings from Father Paddy’s Pub, air-conditioned tents, and music. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to local Woodland charities. 

The event is organized by the C10 Club, in partnership with Visit Woodland and the Woodland Hoteliers Group.

Given the event’s popularity, with show spots selling out in just three hours, it’s advisable to register early if you wish to participate. ​
